ugh..

wtf. this is it. if city won tonight, i am considering to start supporting them, the newly rich and arab owned neighbour of the devils.

ok. i might overreact there. but their performances were very poor, below their usual standard. liverpool was playing the elegant, sleek, sexy football that belongs to us, and we just watched with envy, unable to conjure anything similar. haiyaa, what happened?

on paper, it should be a walk in the park. the scousers was playing with their two best players on the bench. on our side, we have berbatov, eager to impress on his debut and wayne rooney who just started scoring again. meanwhile, liverpool got keane and kuyt, two strikers that just couldn't score. we had most of our first team players available, apart from the ronaldo scum, of course. we should have won this, easily.

yupp, we played good early on. we got on the scoresheet first. after then, it was all liverpool. they attacked, they attacked and they attacked, then poor ol' VDS made a silly mistake and liverpool scored their first goal against us since what, 2006? gosh, it was that long?

halftime whistle was blown, and fergie made a change at restart, bringing ol' giggs for carrick. a silly move. he should have bring hargreaves on. yes, he just recovered from injury, but then, i'm not sure a fit giggs would have been better. besides, hargreaves went on anyway, later in the game.

then, it happened again. giggs was the culprit this time around, refusing to clear the ball for a corner kick. instead, he tried to win a goalkick. bad choice, uncle. a fitter arbeloa stole the ball, then the ball went from kuyt to babel.. goal. 2-1 for liverpool, and my dad celebrated, much to my dismay.

to make it worse, vidic made stupid challenges, twice in a row, and got sent off. ugh, i sensed trouble. the defence are severely depleted, with fergie selling almost everyone to rivals, and now vidic are suspended.great.

still, there's no reason to panic. we were poor last season at this stage, and we still do the double! all we need to do is just to win our next games, that would be against, err.. villareal in the ucl and chelsea, AWAY. they have never lost at home in what, four years? nice, just what we needed, a tough opponent.

wtf. i really feel like supporting city now.
